About the role
We are building an AI-native local commerce platform that connects consumers with local businesses and services. You will own a local services or local commerce vertical end to end - from zero to one - defining the category strategy, shaping the product, and driving the go-to-market motion that takes it from launch to scale. This is a builder role for someone who has stood up a new vertical at a consumer marketplace and wants to do it again, faster, with AI at the core.
What you'll do
  • Own a local commerce / local services vertical end to end: strategy, roadmap, launch, and growth - including category P&L or GM-style ownership.
  • Take new categories from 0→1: validate demand, define the MVP, launch, and iterate toward product-market fit.
  • Drive go-to-market for category launches - supply acquisition, consumer demand, pricing, and marketplace liquidity.
  • Partner with engineering and data science to embed AI/LLM capabilities into the core consumer and merchant experience.
  • Use marketplace metrics (conversion, liquidity, retention, take rate) to prioritize and to prove impact.
What we're looking for
  • 6+ years in product management, with Senior / Lead / Principal / Staff / Group PM scope.
  • Demonstrated 0→1 launch of a new local services or local commerce vertical at a consumer marketplace - not a single feature, but a category.
  • Both vertical category depth AND local-platform experience - you have built within a specific category and on a local marketplace (these two together are the bar, not one alone).
  • Hands-on go-to-market ownership for a new category launch.
  • Fluency with marketplace dynamics: two-sided supply/demand, liquidity, pricing, and unit economics.
Nice to have
  • Experience at a US consumer marketplace such as Yelp, DoorDash, Thumbtack, Nextdoor, Instacart, Uber, Grubhub, Angi, or Gopuff.
  • Track record with services-booking or home-services marketplace products.
  • Experience shipping AI/LLM-powered consumer features.
  • Chinese local-life-services background (e.g., Meituan, Dianping) is a plus for our localization work.

Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training.
