Job description

We are looking for a Private Chef in Newport Coast. The client is looking for someone flexible to come 3-4 days/week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare a variety of meals and snacks on demand, often with short notice.
  • Cook in a fast-paced, order-style format while maintaining food quality and presentation.
  • Coordinate meal prep so that all items are ready and served at the same time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen space.
  • Communicate with family members and staff to ensure preferences and dietary needs are met.
  • Occasionally source ingredients or handle grocery pickups (reliable transportation required).
  • Adapt quickly to changing schedules or requests throughout the day.


Ideal Qualities:

  • Prior experience as a chef or short order/line cook, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Able to cook quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Comfortable with informal settings and flexible meal preferences.
