Do you have a pioneering spirit that embraces the challenge of developing a comprehensive program for establishing a biblical foundation in their lives? Can you see beyond the small group of children present to a future flourishing children's ministry that parents delight in, and children enthusiastically invite their friends to join? Job Description
The Objectives:
- Create and implement a comprehensive program for laying a biblical foundation in the lives of our children
- Support and coordinate with our volunteer teachers
- Actively recruit other children
- Ensure childcare needs are met
The Church:
We are an international, English-speaking church that is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. Our congregation welcomes internationals, is committed to growing spiritually, and provides a place to belong. Our mission is the Great Commission and our motto is "All of Jesus for all of the World." We are emerging from a pandemic induced decline and are slowly growing. We love our children and want to see our ministry to them become one of our greatest strengths. We only have Sunday School and Children's Church on Sunday mornings at the moment. While demands of the week fluctuate, we anticipate this position averaging 10-15 hours a week. This is an on-site job with office hours and weekend service attendance required.
