A+ Childcare & Learning is a licensed childcare center seeking LeadTeachersto support the following age groups:

  • Infants
  • Toddlers
  • Two's
  • Preschool
  • Pre-K
To beQUALIFIED for the Lead Teacher opportunity, we require a high school diplomaand the ability to pass all background checks. Preference for applicants who have an associate degree or higher.A plus if you have previous childcare experience.
Required Shift: Available shifts:Monday - Friday;
  • 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • 6:00am - 3:00pm
  • 7:30am - 4:30pm
Compensation: $15-$18 per hour, based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process for Lead Teachers:
  1. Resumescreen
  2. Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
  3. On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities for Lead Teachers:
  • Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
  • Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryout lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Useour parent communication appefficiently.
  • Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andmaintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
  • Maintaina child assessment and portfoliofor each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
  • Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
