Child Center Team Member

XCAL Shooting Sports and Fitness, a family-owned business, combines its technology-driven design with uncompromising customer service to deliver a unique and fun-filled experience for shooters and fitness enthusiast of all levels. This revolutionary new concept integrates shooting sports and fitness in one convenient location. Our facility features three distinct shooting ranges, full service restaurant, large retail space, traditional as well as functional fitness, mixed martial arts dojo, spin studio, group fitness, spa services, child activity center and a host of amenities to provide an exceptional experience.

Position Summary

A Child Center Team Member provides exceptional fitness-minded children's engagement. Organizes and implements safe, fun, engaging and entertaining activities and games for children between the ages of 1 to 11 years in the Child Activity Center.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Engages children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games in the Child Activity Center.
  • Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment with respect to the toys, equipment, other children, and surroundings.
  • Maintains the Child Activity Center by following the cleaning checklist and performing assigned tasks.
  • Promotes and XCAL programs, products and services.

Position Requirements

  • First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
  • Completion of all state or federal requirements prior to first day of work.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (as needed).

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working with children.
  • The ability to engage a group of children in an activity.
  • Customer service and strong communication skills.
