Defense Mission Expert
The Opportunity :
To keep pace with emerging technology and a challenging security environment, organizations need help looking at their operations from the outside. Whether establishing a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization such as in a merger or split-up, our clients need someone who understands the complexities of their mission and provides them with tangible advice on improvement, mission success, and standard met hodologies. That's why we need a defense mission expert like you who knows how to analyze every aspect of your customer's operations and use your mission and technological expertise to lead efforts to give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision.
This is an opportunity to provide professional support, mission expertise, and deep technological understanding through assistance to the military health community by reviewing critical military medical capabilities required to support the operational force and the delivery of care. This position will allow you to work with a client's organization to leverage your experience as a Chief Information Officer, Chief Artifi cia l Intelligence Officer, and Chief Data Officer in support of the Military Health System. As a leader of our project teams, you'll work directly with other defense mission and technology experts.

You Have:
  • 20+ years of experience supporting or serving within federal agencies such as the Military Health System
  • Experience serving as Chief Information Officer, Chief Artifi cia l Intelligence Officer, and Chief Data Officer within the federal government
  • Experience leading large teams with broad skill sets in high-visibility and rapidly evolving environments
  • Experience in advanced analytics, data systems, and digital capabilities
  • Experience developing leaders capable of technical integration and championing differentiated solutions
  • Knowledge of Service and Joint medical doctrine and medical logistics support across the Military Health System
  • Knowledge of existing infrastructure such as opportunities and limitations, the political environment, and technical capabilities to integrate data and AI solutions into value chain
  • Ability to deliver optimal solutions to our clients based upon the MH mission
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $142,900.00 to $266,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
