The Regional Loss Prevention Advisor, assigned to a specific client, will spearhead the development, implementation, and maintenance of loss prevention programs aimed at reducing theft, fraud, and shrinkage across multiple locations. This role provides operational support, conducts site visits to verify physical security and inventory control procedures, and creates loss prevention strategies for store openings. Additionally, the Advisor will collaborate closely with client stakeholders and store operations teams to enforce inventory control measures and address potential loss issues, while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.This position will have a hybrid work schedule (remote/client locations).

Responsibilities
  • Represent Pinkertons core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive loss prevention programs targeting theft, fraud, and shrinkage reduction across multiple locations.
  • Provide operational support while conducting site visits to ensure the quality of physical security and safety, inventory control procedures, cycle count procedures, shrinkage control efforts, merchandise security standards, and cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visit notes, with follow up and action plans.
  • Assist in the evaluation, development, and execution of regional site security strategies.
  • Develop loss prevention strategies for new store openings for pre-opening, soft opening, and grand opening including vendor management regarding alarm, camera, keys, and safe installation.
  • Create, develop and deliver training programs for store associates and management on loss prevention tactics, polices, and procedures.
  • Serve as an advisor and partner closely with client stakeholders and store operations teams to implement inventory control measures, regular stock counts and audits, and identify discrepancies and address any issues that may lead to losses.
  • Ensure that loss prevention policies and procedures are adhered to, and that all locations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on loss prevention metrics, trends, and key performance indicators to regional management and corporate loss prevention teams.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify patterns and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with five or more years of experience in regional loss prevention advisory services, asset protection, and coordination with vendors, contractors, and law enforcement within a multi-location luxury brand retail environment. If the chosen candidate resides in Illinois, a current PERC will be required.

  • Comprehensive knowledge in all phases of security within a multi-site environment including risk management, systems, procedures, processes, investigations, strategy, legal issues, supervision, and training.
  • Knowledge of physical/operational security techniques.
  • Able to apply emotional intelligence within every task/project.
  • Able to direct security activities at multiple geographic locations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Understanding of varied country practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Able to integrate seamlessly within a high performing regional team.
