We are an exciting new restaurant now open in Raleigh, NC, and we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen and help shape a bold, elevated dining experience for our guests.


About the Role:
As Sous Chef, you’ll partner closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and team performance—while also contributing your creativity to menu development and execution.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef with kitchen leadership and back-of-house operations
     
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence
     
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard
     
  • Help develop and implement seasonal menus and specials
     
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage food costs, and ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations
     
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing kitchen culture

Requirements:

SOUS CHEF QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a leadership role  
  • Solid culinary skills and a passion for high-quality food  
  • Proven ability to manage a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment  
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety  
  • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
