TheContract OperationsManageris responsible forworking with internal/external customers on all aspects of MarketAccess;Master Data, Contracting, Membership, Chargebacks and Rebates. Theyare responsible forthe receipt, analysis, impact,resolutionand posting/reporting of all contractual payments across multiple customer segments including Health Plans, GPOs, Specialty Pharmacies, Physicians and Wholesalers as well asmaintainingall related documentation for those payments.

TheContract OperationsManageris responsible for developing Market Access contracts including: template development, strategy interpretation, language negotiation, approval, and execution In this role, they will manage and meet deliverables of business operations to monitor, evaluate and administer claims to be paid and ensure payments are accurate, timely, formulary compliant and entered in contract systems consistent with agreement terms, following corporate controls/approved guidelines and SOX regulations.

This individual is expected toestablishand maintain collaborative working relationships with internal/external contacts and peers to ensure effective communication and a high-level of customer service to support successful implementation and execution of contract terms and payments.This individual mustpossessan in-depth knowledge of claims processes, systems and an understanding of Market Access contracting processes and strategies to ensure contract compliance.

  • Validate,Monitorand Update Customer Master Data

  • Work with Customer Facing Team and Customers to obtainaccuratemembership rosters

  • Process, monitor, review, measure, track,validate, research, analyze and report on customer activity/utilization reported by contract customers, wholesalers, and others using chargebacks,rebatesand sales data

  • Understand and interpret contract language and regulations as it relates to contract setup and maintenance to ensureaccuratecalculation of customer reimbursements

  • Develop anexpertisewith standard contract language as well as the ability to draft and suggest modified language

  • Develop andmaintainstrong working relationships tofacilitatethe exchange of key information,understandand address needs, and clarify contract requirements with internal and external customers

  • Collaborate with peers to manage priorities and coordinate efforts with a focus on providing excellent customer service

  • Contribute to contract management and strategy approaches through knowledge of reimbursement arrangements, contractlanguageand potential business operations capabilities

  • Meet and understand all compliance-related requirements such as completion of mandatory training, adherence to audit controls, and adherence to all AZ policies, SOPs, job aids, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

  • Participateoncross-functional teams lending support and input from a Market Access perspective as well aslead orparticipateonspecial projects as assigned by management

  • Discover,developand lead orparticipateonannualobjectivesthat align with Market Access priorities

  • Develop and communicate reporting techniques/tools emphasizing trend analysis as it relates to strategy development, contract performance, andcompliance

Education, Qualifications,Skillsand Experience

Required for the role

  • Bachelor's degree

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $114,428.80 - $171,643.20. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
