This role is a senior hybrid technical and commercial position, responsible for technical support and field execution while also supporting market adoption, dealer development, partner enablement, and revenue growth across agricultural irrigation markets.The Senior Technical Lead, Ag Water Solutions operates as a high-impact individual contributor with significant technical responsibility and defined commercial responsibilities. The role's primary day-to-day focus is technical support, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning, training, and field execution, supplemented by technical sales, dealer and channel development, agricultural expos and events, product demonstrations, and commercial follow-through in support of the Market Development Manager - Ag Solutions. While the primary geographic focus is the United States and Canada, the role may be deployed globally as business priorities evolve. The position does not involve OEM sales activities, and does not include direct people management responsibilities.Essential Job Functions:
  • Holds primary responsibility for technical support and field execution for Husqvarna Water's agricultural solutions within assigned markets, including troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, configuration, optimization, and escalated customer support.
  • Serves as a senior technical resource for dealers, growers, channel partners, and internal teams, helping ensure products are installed correctly, operate reliably, and deliver the expected customer experience.
  • Leads structured troubleshooting of complex field issues, diagnose root causes, and coordinate resolution with product, engineering, quality, operations, and support teams as needed.
  • Supports dealer onboarding and technical capability development by providing hands-on guidance, training, documentation, installation support, and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Designs and deliver training programs for dealers, installers, manufacturers, and growers, both in person and remotely, covering hardware, software, system integration, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  • Assists the Market Development Manager - Ag Solutions and broader commercial team with technical sales support, including product demonstrations, pre-sale technical discovery, site and application review, dealer meetings, and technical follow-up for active opportunities.
  • Participates in agricultural expos, trade shows, field days, dealer events, and customer meetings as a technical representative of Husqvarna Water / B-hyve Ag, supporting product education, demonstrations, dealer development, and commercial activities as needed.
  • Develops and strengthen technical relationships with dealers, channel partners, pivot irrigation manufacturers, and growers to improve product adoption, dealer capability, field support, and long-term customer success.
  • Identifies potential expansion opportunities, customer needs, dealer development needs, and product gaps encountered through field and support activities, and communicate those opportunities to the Market Development Manager and commercial team.
  • Analyses technical insights gathered from installations, customer usage, field performance, and partner feedback to identify improvement opportunities and support product, engineering, support, and commercial decision-making.
  • Monitors and reports relevant competitor innovations, technical solutions, market practices, and emerging technologies, ensuring all competitive intelligence activities are conducted in full compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Serves as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, from pre-sale technical support through installation, commissioning, post-sale adoption, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborates effectively across technical, product, engineering, commercial, and functional teams, influencing outcomes without direct authority.
Requirements:
