This organization is devoted to rapidly growing the product categories that attach to and add value to Apple's consumer our hero devices. We are looking for a Director to own sell-through strategy and channel development end to end across a broad range of businesses responsible for Xbn in annual revenue. As the business continues to scale, this work now warrants a dedicated leader with a multi-year mandate. This role brings global sell-through strategy and channel development together under one owner and gives it a long-term roadmap.
Description
In this role, you will own the functional sell-through layer across Americas, EMEIA, and JAPAC for Apple-branded Accessories, AppleCare+, AirPods, and Beats by Dr. Dre. You will build a multi year roadmap that moves the organization beyond quarter-to-quarter execution. You will bring data to drive the decisions that matter most, shaping partner mix, placement, and promotional strategy across the channel.
You will drive the modernization of our online channel, evolving how Worldwide Accessories sells through Apple.com and helping our retail partners strengthen their digital storefronts and the ways we go to market together. As the retail landscape continues to shift, you will expand our digital channel capabilities and keep Apple ahead of where the channel is heading.
You will identify, evaluate, and develop channel partners globally, leading partnership negotiations and deal structuring and expanding our sell-through reach through strategic relationships. You will partner closely with regional BD leads to ensure a consistent global approach around the world, and you will bring internal stakeholders and external partners along through persuasive, well-reasoned communication.
Minimum Qualifications
12 to 15+ years of experience in sell-through strategy, channel development, or business development and partnerships, ideally in consumer technology or an adjacent category
Proven track record of building a GTM strategy from scratch and scaling it to success, without relying on existing playbooks or infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to balance quarterly execution with a multi-quarter strategic view, and to see around the corner as the market evolves
Experience managing senior-level relationships with external partners and influencing cross-functional teams through credibility rather than authority
Strong experience developing and presenting strategic concepts to senior leadership in a large-scale corporate environment
Proficiency developing robust financial and channel models
Resourcefulness and tenacity to push through obstacles and find creative paths to results in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
A hands-on leader who leads by doing, builds trust through competence and reliability, and earns credibility quickly with a tenured team
Strong experience developing and presenting strategic concepts to senior leadership in a large-scale corporate environment
Proficiency developing robust financial and channel models
Resourcefulness and tenacity to push through obstacles and find creative paths to results in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
