Job description

As a Channel Manager, you will be responsible for translating product and brand strategies into effective channel and customer-specific business plans across assigned retail channels and accounts. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Development, Finance, and Operations, you will help drive profitable growth through strong commercialization, assortment planning, pricing, and promotional execution.
Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Support achievement of budgeted sales and profitability targets across assigned channels and customer accounts.
  • Partner with Sales and Product teams to optimize product assortment and customer mix to drive sales and margin performance.
  • Support the commercialization of new products and programs, ensuring strong in-market execution.
  • Participate in line review planning and assortment strategy development to improve distribution and placement.
  • Assist in the development and execution of promotional strategies that drive volume while supporting margin goals.
  • Support customer pricing by product category based on margin requirements and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze POS, syndicated, and customer data to track performance, identify trends, and recommend actions.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce non-productive costs at the customer and channel level.
  • Manage day-to-day coordination of business activities with Sales, Product Development, Finance, and Operations.
  • Develop customer presentations and supporting analysis for sales meetings, line reviews, and business reviews.
  • Represent the company in customer interactions and internal meetings as needed.
  • Develop actionable recommendations to improve revenue, margin, and promotional effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Channel Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales Operations, or Commercial Planning, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working with syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Circana) and customer POS data.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for pricing, margin analysis, and data management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for building customer presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with evolving priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits:
US$80,000.00 - US$90,000.00 Annually
Final compensation offered will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
