What are chain restaurants?

Chain restaurants are groups of restaurants that share the same brand, menu, and standard operating procedures across multiple locations. They are typically owned by a single company or operate under a franchise model. Chain restaurants aim to provide a consistent dining experience, so customers know what to expect regardless of location. Examples include popular brands like McDonald's, Starbucks, and Olive Garden. Their widespread presence and standardized offerings make them easily recognizable and accessible.
