Ceramic Engineer

Position Overview
We're seeking a Ceramic Engineer to join our team in Conway, SC! The Ceramic Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving ceramic materials and processes for various applications, focusing on enhancing performance and efficiency in manufacturing operations. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to innovate and troubleshoot manufacturing challenges in the ceramic industry.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ceramic materials for various applications including steel manufacturing and metal casting.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve existing ceramic processes for better efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct research to explore new ceramic materials and applications in commercial production.
  • Implement refractory improvements to enhance the durability and performance of ceramic products.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to ceramic materials and processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production staff on ceramic material handling and application.

Qualifications
