Job description

Office Assistant / Business Intern

Company: Repit USA

Location: Buena Park, CA

Position Type: Part-Time, In-Office

Pay: $20/hour

Company Overview

Repit USA is a Korean hair and beauty brand with over 30 years of industry expertise, now expanding into the United States. We combine advanced hair technology with natural Amazon-sourced ingredients to create high-quality professional haircare products.

Our product line includes shampoos, treatments, perm solutions, styling products, and advanced hot tools designed for both salon professionals and everyday consumers. With a strong focus on education, professional training, and modern beauty trends, Repit USA is passionate about helping stylists, salons, and customers achieve their haircare goals.

Repit USA is also actively involved in the growing influence of Korean beauty and pop culture in the U.S. market. We work with top Korean salons and beauty professionals across major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, while also supporting celebrity styling, major beauty events, and cultural moments such as Coachella. This gives our team the opportunity to be part of a fast-moving industry where professional beauty, education, fashion, and entertainment come together.

Role Description

Repit USA is looking for a part-time Office Assistant / Business Intern to support daily office operations, customer service, e-commerce orders, social media upkeep, and general business needs.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a growing Korean beauty company. The role is ideal for an intern, recent graduate, or entry-level candidate who is organized, reliable, and interested in learning how a beauty brand operates across office administration, customer service, e-commerce, marketing, events, and B2B sales support.

This position will begin as a part-time role, with potential opportunity for full-time growth after 6 months based on performance, reliability, and overall fit with the team.

Since Repit USA is a small and growing team, this position will require someone who is flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly. There may not always be a clearly defined path or step-by-step process, so we are looking for someone who can work independently, look for answers, ask thoughtful questions, and take initiative when solving problems.

Work Environment

Repit USA is a small team, which means every team member may support different areas of the business depending on the day. Some tasks may be planned in advance, while others may come up quickly due to customer needs, order timelines, events, or business priorities.

The right person for this role should be comfortable with change, willing to learn through experience, and able to stay organized even when tasks shift. Guidance and training will be provided, but this role is best suited for someone who does not need constant direction and is willing to find solutions before waiting for the next instruction.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily office operations, organization, and general administrative tasks
  • Respond to client messages, customer inquiries, product questions, and basic follow-ups
  • Assist with packing, shipping, and order preparation for Shopify, Amazon, and other sales channels
  • Help organize product information, inventory details, digital assets, marketing materials, and office resources
  • Support communication with customers, salons, vendors, and team members when needed
  • Help with social media upkeep, including organizing content, posting support, and basic engagement
  • Assist with e-commerce, Amazon, Shopify, and marketing projects when needed
  • Prepare materials, products, and supplies for conventions, education events, trade shows, and B2B/B2C shows
  • Support the team with daily business needs as they come up
  • Contribute ideas, look for solutions, and take initiative on assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • Interest or experience in office administration, customer service, business support, operations, or marketing
  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Comfortable handling daily office tasks, customer service, packing, shipping, and product organization
  • Flexible and able to adapt to quick changes in a small business environment
  • Comfortable working in a role where responsibilities may shift depending on business needs
  • Able to work independently and look for answers when a process is not fully clear
  • Willing to ask thoughtful questions and communicate when support is needed
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to take initiative
  • Comfortable supporting different areas of the business, including office tasks, customer service, events, e-commerce, and social media
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Canva, Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Experience with Amazon A+ Content is a plus, but not required
  • Creative mindset with an interest in beauty, haircare, fashion, Korean beauty, or pop culture is a plus
  • Degree or coursework in Business, Marketing, Communications, E-Commerce, Media, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Korean bilingual ability is preferred
  • Ability to travel for conventions, beauty shows, education events, and company events is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Part-time position with flexible scheduling
  • Pay range of $20/hour
  • Opportunity for full-time growth after 6 months based on performance, reliability, and company needs
  • Free Repit USA products provided for product education and brand familiarity
  • Hands-on experience with office operations, customer service, e-commerce, Amazon, Shopify, social media, and digital marketing
  • Potential opportunities to travel to beauty conventions, trade shows, education seminars, and pop culture events across the U.S. and internationally
  • Opportunity to contribute ideas and support the growth of a Korean beauty brand in the U.S. market

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, flexible, and willing to learn. We are looking for someone who can help with daily office needs while also being open to supporting customer service, e-commerce, social media, packing and shipping, and event preparation.

  • This role is a strong fit for someone who wants to gain real business experience in a growing beauty company and is excited to be part of a small team where their work can make a direct impact.
