Job description

Must be located in NYC. This is a full-time role. Our team is in-person Monday-Thursday, with Fridays optional WFH. You can also anticipate additional support required evenings or weekends to support on IRL events, and occasional travel throughout the US.
About Pickle
Pickle is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace unlocking the value of the billions of underutilized items sitting in consumers' closets. We make it easy to rent high-quality items exactly when you need them - with fast, convenient fulfillment and an on-demand experience that's as seamless as shopping.
We're building a new kind of commerce layer: one powered by dynamic local supply, where access is more convenient than ownership. Pickle is now live nationwide and scaling rapidly in key local markets including NYC, LA, and Miami. Our marketplace already features 400K+ items, and we're just getting started. We're excited to extend our vision beyond fashion into every category.
What makes Pickle different is the combination of incredible peer-to-peer inventory, industry-leading convenience (under 2 days nationwide and under 2 hours locally), and an on-demand model with no subscriptions - users rent what they want, when they want it. We've raised $20M to date from FirstMark, Craft, Burst Capital, FJ Labs, and others, and we're scaling quickly to build the future of access-driven shopping.
About The Role
We're hiring an Influencer Growth Manager to scale our influencer outreach and onboarding as we expand across cities nationwide.
This role sits at the center of Pickle's growth engine - owning influencer outreach, onboarding, activation, and retention while helping build the systems and playbooks that scale our creator ecosystem nationally. You'll be working directly with some of the trendiest creators across the country.
This is a highly relationship-driven role with a strong outbound component. You'll spend a significant amount of time on creator outreach, onboarding calls, relationship management, and activation strategy.
Core metrics include calls booked, onboarding conversion, social activation, inventory uploads, and renter engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to help define the future of creator-led marketplace growth at a fast-growing startup.
Responsibilities
Creator Acquisition & Growth
  • Own influencer onboarding from outreach to activation: DMs, onboarding calls, closet setup, and activation strategy
  • Track and optimize core KPIs including calls booked, onboarding conversion, social activation, inventory uploads, and renter conversion
  • Collaborate with the Growth team to build and scale creator strategies that drive marketplace growth
  • Build scalable systems and playbooks to grow Pickle from thousands of creators to tens of thousands nationwide
  • Manage and scale creator programs across nano, micro and macro influencers, driving consistent engagement, content creation, and marketplace activity

Scale Relationships & Engagement
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing creators, ensuring they feel supported and continue engaging with Pickle as renters and lenders
  • Build relationships with creators, tastemakers, stylists, campus influencers, and emerging fashion personalities across key markets
  • Serve as a high-touch partner to select macro creators, supporting onboarding, activation, and ongoing engagement
  • Be highly responsive and helpful when creators need support or guidance

Creator Success & Merchandising
  • Support select creators with closet setup, inventory uploads, and merchandising optimization
  • Create lookbooks and help creators source rentals to wear and share across social channels
  • Create assets and workflows that help creators better manage merchandising and social sharing

Events & Community
  • Own influencer and community event outreach across markets, including guest list strategy, invitations, RSVP tracking, and attendee engagement
  • Drive event performance metrics including RSVPs, attendance, creator participation, social impressions, and engagement
  • Support the execution of IRL events and community activations that deepen creator relationships and drive marketplace growth; occasional travel may be required
  • Source relevant high-impact closets for ongoing IRL partnerships (eg. to be featured in our store) and monitor and adjust for performance

Operations & Feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, follow-ups, creator engagement, and performance metrics
  • Share product feedback, creator insights, and partnership opportunities with internal teams

Who You Are
  • 4-7 years of experience in influencer marketing, community, sales, or customer-facing roles
  • You have proven experience building creator programs that scale
  • You're an excellent communicator-friendly, clear, persuasive and collaborative over email, DMs, and phone
  • You're highly organized and on top of every conversation, follow-up, and deadline
  • You have a customer-first mindset and enjoy making people feel seen, heard, and excited to collaborate
  • You're energized by fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple moving pieces
  • You're resourceful and solutions-oriented-you'll find a way when the playbook doesn't exist
  • You're excited to work at an early-stage startup and roll up your sleeves to make things happen
  • You're deeply familiar with the influencer landscape and can spot who's up next, regardless of the market
  • You love data and can effectively track metrics and prioritize across 1000s of creators

Nice to Have
  • Experience with marketplace or consumer app growth
  • Early stage, fast-paced startup experience
  • You've worked with fashion creators or within a rental/fashion platform
  • Background in fashion, creators, or community-driven brands
  • Active Pickle user or strong familiarity with the product
  • You're familiar with Archive, Canva, Zapier, SQL
  • You love data and process optimization

Benefits
