Public Relations Manager

The Public Relations Manager will report to the PR Director and will develop and maintain relationships with media, work on VIP dressing and compile reports outlining the departments activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily communication with editors, stylists, producers, and freelance writers.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive media lists across fashion, lifestyle, business, beauty, and entertainment.
  • Coordinate sample requests, editorial pulls, and returns through the PR showroom.
  • Track and monitor editorial placements across print, digital, television, podcasts, and newsletters.
  • Assist in writing press releases, media alerts, market pitches, and briefing documents.
  • Compile weekly, monthly, and seasonal press coverage reports.
  • Support the PR Director to execute ALICE+OLIVIAs US and Global PR strategy including promoting new season collections, product launches, researching market trends and identifying coverage opportunities and pitching stories to press.
  • Outreach daily to stylists for celebrity and VIP loans and gifting.
  • Coordinate celebrity and VIP product requests.
  • Manage sample trafficking for celebrity fittings, appearances, and events.
  • Maintain celebrity and stylist databases.
  • Track upcoming red-carpet opportunities, press appearances, and promotional tours.
  • Assist with gifting initiatives and influencer seeding programs.
  • Manage calendars and scheduling for the PR team.
  • Process invoices and track sample and gifting budgets.
  • Prepare presentations and recaps for internal meetings.
  • Assist with agency communications and reporting.
  • Distribute all look books and assets per season.
  • In charge of putting all important dates and events on time and action calendar.
  • In charge of putting together press clippings and support PR Director with reporting.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in PR must be in the fashion industry, either agency or in house.
  • Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Liberal Arts or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and fashion PR platforms such as Launch metrics, Lefty, or Muck Rack.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to succeed in a fast-growing, team-oriented environment.
  • A self-starter with superb organization and planning skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a result-focused approach.
  • Strong interest in media and current trends.
  • Excellent social perceptiveness and interpersonal skills.

$70,000-80,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC - based position.
