Job description

Living Proof is looking for an experienced, strategic, and highly connected communications leader to drive the brand's public relations, partnerships, and experiential marketing strategy. This role reports to our VP of Consumer Marketing. The Senior Manager of PR, Partnerships & Experiential is responsible for building and growing the Living Proof brand and reputation through best-in-class earned media, high-impact partnerships, and culturally relevant experiences that connect with consumers and industry tastemakers. You will serve as the key contact for all PR, partnerships, and experiential activity, managing agencies and acting as the internal liaison with social media, influencer, DTC, retail, and content teams. You will develop integrated storytelling and activation strategies that drive earned media coverage, cultural relevance, and consumer engagement. This role will lead critical brand-building activities including PR and press strategy, celebrity and stylist partnerships, brand collaborations, experiential events, spokesperson management, and product launch support. The position calls for an entrepreneurial, creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can maximize impact through integrated, cross-channel programs.
Key Responsibilities
PR & Communications
  • Lead the development and execution of annual PR strategy to drive awareness, cultural relevance, and brand affinity
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier media across consumer, business, beauty, and lifestyle outlets, including new emerging channels
  • Partner with agency to develop impactful press materials (press releases, media alerts, Q&As, thought leadership content) that drive earned coverage
  • Develop compelling storytelling angles that translate product innovation and brand messaging into culturally relevant narratives
  • Manage affiliate PR agency relationships and commerce editorial strategies, driving coverage with shopping and affiliate-focused publishers while tracking performance and business impact.
  • Oversee spokesperson strategy, including identification, training, and activation

Partnerships (Celebrity, Stylist & Brand Collaborations)
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage celebrity partnerships, including ambassadors, red carpet moments, and cultural tentpoles
  • Build and nurture relationships with celebrity stylists, hair stylists, and key industry tastemakers to drive organic advocacy and placement
  • Develop and execute brand collaborations and co-branded partnerships that expand reach and enhance brand equity
  • Lead amenity partnerships (hotels, fitness, hospitality, premium services) to drive trial and premium brand exposure
  • Partner cross-functionally to integrate partnerships into marketing campaigns, product launches, and retail moments

Experiential & Events
  • Conceptualize and execute innovative experiential activations, including press events, influencer events, consumer pop-ups, and cultural moments
  • Develop high-impact launch events and immersive brand experiences that drive buzz and earned media
  • Ensure seamless execution of events from concept through production, guest experience, and post-event amplification
  • Collaborate with influencer and social teams to extend experiential moments into digital storytelling

Seeding & Cultural Programming
  • Strategize and execute elevated product seeding programs targeting celebrities, stylists, and brand partners
  • Create culturally relevant moments and opportunistic activations that tap into trends and conversations
  • Partner with social and influencer teams to ensure alignment and amplification

Strategy, Planning & Operations
  • Partner with agency to develop annual PR, partnerships, and experiential strategies and integrated campaign plans
  • Ensure excellence in end-to-end planning, execution, and measurement of all initiatives
  • Develop and manage annual scopes of work, KPIs, monthly / quarterly reporting, and budgets across PR, partnerships, and experiential
  • Maintain oversight of agency budgets and reallocate investments based on performance and opportunities
  • Lead quarterly agency performance reviews and identify optimization opportunities
  • Forecast, manage, and reconcile budgets

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Act as a key cross-functional partner to all other Consumer marketing verticals, creative, and retail teams
  • Ensure alignment across all brand touchpoints, from earned media to in-store and digital experiences
  • Collaborate with leadership to elevate brand positioning and long-term strategy

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in public relations, partnerships, experiential, or integrated marketing (in-house or agency)
  • Plugged into what's trending, new and next and able to connect that awareness with business and planning strategies
  • Strong network across media, celebrity, stylist, and influencer communities
  • Experience working with affiliate PR agencies preferred (Awin or similar), including developing commerce editorial strategies, managing publisher relationships, securing affiliate-driven coverage, and tracking performance against business objectives.
  • Proven experience managing celebrity partnerships, stylist relationships, and brand collaborations
  • Experience producing high-impact events and experiential activations
  • Outstanding written, editing, verbal, and presentation skills and a journalistic ability to form and source story angles and content from team members
  • Ability to take moments and craft them into compelling stories for media and consumers alike
  • Results-driven with a strong understanding of KPIs and measurement across PR, partnerships, and experiential
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and deal-making capabilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Experience leading projects (from the highest level down to the tiniest details) with multiple team members, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle shifting timelines and priorities
  • Ability to implement campaigns and product launches from start to finish, translating goals into measurable metrics against business and PR priorities
  • Passion for beauty, culture, and innovation

Annual Base Compensation: $125,000-$150,000 (consummate with experience)
