We're growing and looking for a motivated and energetic Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team and help drive new client acquisition and long-term business growth from our Oak Park headquarters.

Position Summary:

As an Inside Business Development Rep, you’ll play a critical role in generating qualified leads, setting appointments, and fueling the top of our sales pipeline. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with decision-makers, and is eager to learn the commercial construction industry.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect and identify new opportunities with multi-unit brands, franchise groups, developers, and national retailers.
  • Make 50 plus calls/emails per day to introduce CDO Group’s services and secure discovery meetings.
  • Research and qualify leads using LinkedIn, CRM tools (HubSpot), and internal data sources.
  • Schedule and support virtual or in-person sales meetings for senior reps and leadership.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to craft personalized outreach messages and campaigns.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate activity records in HubSpot CRM.
  • Support proposal and pitch creation for prospective clients.
  • Provide insight and feedback to leadership on lead quality and market trends.
  • Engage in LinkedIn networking and industry research to uncover hidden opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–5 years of B2B inside sales, appointment setting, or lead generation experience (construction or commercial services preferred).
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills — confident, concise, and personable.
  • A high level of organization and follow-through.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in CRM tools (preferably HubSpot), LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office.
  • A team player with a self-starter attitude who takes initiative and ownership.
  • Able to work in-person at our Oak Park, IL office.
