Job Summary:
Cato Networks is a pioneering company in cloud networking and security, seeking a Sales Engineer in the West to support its field sales team. The role involves managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and acting as a technical advisor for Catoโs solutions to prospects.
Responsibilities:
โข Provide technical validation of Cato Networks solutions to prospects.
โข Develop and deliver product demonstrations.
โข Present the product to customers and at field events such as conferences and seminars.
โข Address functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs.
โข Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
โข Travel throughout the sales territory as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
โข 4+ years of pre-sales or consulting experience working with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role.
โข Proven track record in software sales.
โข Broad knowledge of networking technology, including: LAN and WAN technologies, Switching and routing, Security, firewalls, and filtering technologies, Cloud.
โข Presentation skills and written communication skills for emails, RFPs, and reports.
โข Organized, creative, and adaptable in approach and solution design.
