Job description

At Cato Networks, we have a team of veteran technology and security experts, looking to change the world. We believe that while good engineers can create simple solutions for complex problems, great engineers can make complex problems โ€“ simple.

Welcome to the future of cloud networking and security!

Cato Networks is the first company to converge enterprise networking and security into one centralized and global service that is delivered by cloud. It is led by networking and security pioneer Shlomo Kramer (Check Point, Imperva) and early investor (Palo Alto Networks, Exabeam, Trusteer and more). Catoโ€™s unique technology inspired a brand-new product category, later named โ€œSASEโ€ by Gartner and a market expected to reach $28.5 billion by 2028. This is your opportunity to get on the rocket ship and join a company that is building a cutting-edge enterprise network and secure cloud platform, and is on a fast track to becoming the worldwide market leader โ€“ donโ€™t miss it!

At Cato Networks, weโ€™re redefining enterprise networking and security through the worldโ€™s leading SASE platform. As our business continues to grow, so does our brandโ€”and weโ€™re looking for a Senior Brand Designer to help shape whatโ€™s next.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand, youโ€™ll help evolve Catoโ€™s global visual identity while creating compelling work across every major brand touchpoint. From global campaigns and product launches to flagship events, executive keynotes, customer experiences, digital marketing, and AI-driven creative initiatives, your work will influence how customers, partners, analysts, and employees experience the Cato brand.

This role is ideal for someone who thinks in systems as much as they think in visuals. Youโ€™re equally energized by building scalable design frameworks as you are crafting a standout campaign or presentation. You bring curiosity, strong creative instincts, and exceptional executionโ€”and you thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where great ideas become reality.

*Note: This is a remote role, but weโ€™re looking for someone based in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Our marketing leadership team is located there, and weโ€™d like the person in this role to have the opportunity to collaborate in person from time to time.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling visual assets across digital, print, presentation, event, and campaign channels.
  • Help steward and evolve Catoโ€™s visual identity, ensuring consistency while expanding the brand system.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teamsโ€”including Marketing, Product Marketing, Content, Events, Motion, Video, and Productionโ€”to deliver thoughtful, onโ€‘brand creative.
  • Translate business objectives into clear, engaging visual solutions with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fastโ€‘paced environment.
  • Contribute ideas that elevate creative quality and strengthen the overall brand experience across every customer touchpoint.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience in brand or graphic design, preferably within B2B technology companies, creative agencies, or a combination of both.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and PowerPoint, with a commitment to continuously learning new tools and workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining scalable brand systems across multiple mediums.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize competing projects, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Solid understanding of production requirements for digital, print, presentation, and large-format design.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to gather requirements, present creative work, and build alignment with crossโ€‘functional stakeholders.
  • A portfolio showcasing exceptional design craft across a diverse range of formats, including digital, social, print, events, and presentations, with clear explanations of your individual contributions.
  • Enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and a desire to incorporate AI into creative exploration, workflow optimization, and design innovation.
  • Experience working across both inโ€‘house and agency environments.
  • Familiarity with motion design or lightweight animation tools, such as Figma prototypes or After Effects.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related disciplineโ€”or equivalent professional experience.

A reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role, at the time of posting, is $120,000 - 135,000 total compensation. Cato operates from a high place of trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs. Exact compensation may vary based on skill set, experience, location, training, and certifications. If your requirements fall outside of this range, you are still welcome to apply.

Cato provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits plan.

  • health/vision/dental insurance
  • 401(k)
  • stock options
  • Health Savings/Flexible Spending Accounts
  • flexible time-off
  • paid parental leave and disability benefits

As an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status.
