Job description

Job Summary:
Lynk Global is the inventor of satellite direct to device technology, allowing mobile network operators' subscribers to communicate with space via standard mobile devices. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, speed, and security while collaborating on infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure
• Configure and manage routers, firewalls, and network hardware
• Create and enforce network security measures and policies
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and drive resolution
• Collaborate with IT and security teams on infrastructure improvements
• Document network architecture, configurations, and processes
• Procure and manage network hardware and software
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3 – 6 years of experience in network engineering or administration
• Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and wireless technologies
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve problems logically
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Exposure to Linux and Windows Server administration
• To comply with U.S. Government export control regulations (ITAR), applicants must be one of the following: (i) a U.S. citizen or national, (ii) a lawful permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) a refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) an asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. Individuals who do not meet these criteria must be eligible to obtain the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Preferred:
• Exposure to Cisco and/or Ubiquiti Networks
• Familiarity with AWS networking and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with PowerShell and network automation/scripting
• Desire to expand into security or cloud architecture
• Previous startup experience is a strong plus
