Description
Star of the Sea Catholic School is seeking a Full-time Front Office Receptionist.
The Front Office Receptionist will provide assistance to the principal and the school community. The receptionist is employed by Star of the Sea Catholic School and works directly under the supervision of the principal. There is frequent interaction with the school staff, students, parents and school board as well as the general public.
The duties of the front office receptionist shall include the following but not limited:
  1. Meet and greet all people promptly who come to the office.
  2. Answer the phone and correctly record and deliver all messages promptly
  3. Assist the transfer of students to and from the front office for early dismissal or late arrival as needed
  4. Maintain ample office supplies as needed (within budgetary limits).
  5. Maintain efficient and effective office procedures at all times.
  6. Keep student and personnel information confidential.
  7. Oversee the maintenance of office machines and equipment. Track maintenance agreements, call when service is required, and recommend new machines or equipment when necessary.
  8. Manage daily lunch count and attendance.
  9. Work with the cafeteria staff to publish a lunch menu monthly.
  10. Provide Before and AfterCare with weekly sign-in sheets.
  11. Maintain records for middle school volunteer hours.
  12. Help prepare Wednesday Folder copies for distribution.
  13. Work in coordination with office personnel for assigned duties.
  14. Assist the Principal on extra projects as needed.
  15. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

Requirements
Pay Grade: S-3
