Job description

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Catalog Assembly Helper to work out of one of our offices in Waggaman, LA. Catalog Assembly Helpers are responsible to assemble materials in accordance with the work order and submit it to shipping.
IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS IF APPLYING IN PERSON MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-2PM.
Essential Duties:
  • Obtain work copy and match with original order.
  • Assemble products from work order accurately and efficiently.
  • Submit the work order to the warehouse for shipment.
  • Assist with landscape and grass cutting.
  • Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

Days/Shift:
  • Monday thru Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Ideal Candidate:
  • Be able to know the products and part numbers.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8-hour shift.
  • Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers.
  • Be able to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
