Job description

Overview
Reports To: Varies by location
Primary Functions: Answering the telephone and managing the switchboard. Greeting and escorting clients and visitors to the proper party. Maintaining the professional image of the Credit Union to callers and visitors. Assist the AVP in administrative support and marketing activities for the mortgage office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Act as receptionist for the company; handle incoming calls and/or transfer of calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Assist and direct clients to appropriate individuals, and schedule and coordinate appointments as required.
  3. Respond to inquiries and member questions and direct to appropriate personnel as needed.
  4. Photocopy and collect documentation from members as directed.
  5. Receive and distribute mail and faxes.
  6. Catalog, order, and inventory supplies, materials and forms.
  7. Participate in seminars and other training as directed to maintain knowledge and skill development.
  8. Maintain skill set in usage and understanding of such applications as: MorStart, Symitar, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and any other applications as needed.
  9. Train relief operators when necessary.
  10. Assist with various administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable
Experience/Skills: One year of office work. Must be able to operate a multi line telephone system. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. Must be able to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and maintain professional demeanor midst constant interruption. Must be friendly, organized and enjoy dealing with people.

Compensation
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.
Salary Pay Range: 14
$45,633 - $66,624 annually
