The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

Position Overview
Reviews, monitors and supervises cash application process to ensure complete, accurate and proper performance as directed by Manager of Cash Applications. Performs cash application duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Two years' experience with cash posting, one of which is in a supervisory position, in a healthcare setting.
Other Credentials:
Knowledge and Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Special Training:
Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Ability to effectively mentor, coach, and direct others. Ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions.
Usual Work Day: 8 Hours
Reporting Relationships
Does this position formally supervise employees? Yes
If set to YES, then this position has the authority (delegated) to hire, terminate, discipline, promote or effectively recommend such to manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reviews, monitors and discusses cash applications issues with staff to ensure complete, accurate and proper performance as directed by Cash Applications Manager.
Performs cash application functions as required.
Oversees cash application process and cash posting.
Acts as a quality assurance reviewer to ensure work completed is accurate and timely.
Monitors timely cash application work lists to prevent aging.
Leads daily departmental activities in absence of Manager.
Assists cashiers to ensure that cash is posted correctly and timely and balances at end of day.
Completes ERA/EFT documentation for new payors.
Performs other duties as assigned and adapts to changing departmental demands.
