Description

American Traveler is hiring a seasoned travel RN Case Manager for an acute care facility in Apple Valley, CA, requiring 2 years of acute care case management experience and Epic proficiency.

Details
  • Acute care hospital setting, Case Management department
  • Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00โ€“16:30)
  • Patient ratios: 1:25 on weekdays, 1:45 on weekends
  • Weekend requirement: every other weekend to meet department needs
  • No floating within this unit; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Active CA RN license required (pending license accepted, but must be active by start date)
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care case management and/or discharge planning experience required (behavioral health experience does not count toward this requirement)
  • Hospital acute care experience is required
  • Epic EMR proficiency required
  • Seasoned travelers only โ€” first-time travelers will not be considered
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Business attire or scrubs are acceptable dress code
  • RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
  • Former permanent staff at Providence facilities must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem) must disclose the location and dates of that employment
