Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Case Management position at a 286-bed hospital in Largo, FL, requiring Meditech and Midas experience with a minimum of 1 year of case management experience.

Details
  • Case Management unit within an acute care hospital setting
  • Team consists of RN Case Managers and Social Work Case Managers
  • Patient caseload ratio of at least 25:1
  • EMR systems used: Meditech and Midas (experience in both is required)
  • Day shift: 8:30 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holidays worked in rotation with hospital employees
  • The HCA FL Largo West campus (psych/rehab department) is treated as a float unit
Requirements
  • Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent RN case management experience required
  • Meditech experience required
  • Midas experience required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)
  • Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
Additional Information
  • Complex discharge planning experience is preferred
  • Navy blue scrubs are required for RNs
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility โ€” local candidates are not eligible for this position
