Job description

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. has a full-time opening for a Foster Care Case Manager for our Easthampton area office to provide intensive case management to youths. Some duties will include communication and relationship building with client and all collateral partners connected with each client (schools, funding partners, therapists, agencies, foster homes, etc), setting limits for youth, development of interventions, and setting goals toward individual successes in conjunction with clientโ€™s guardians, therapist and other providers. Must participate in on-call services as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the human service or behavioral science field
  • LSW, LSWA, or license-eligible
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care
  • Approved CORI & DCF background checks (preformed by the EEC)
  • Approved driving background check
  • Valid driver's license
  • Auto Insurance: It is NCYF's policy for our Foster Care Case Managers to have at minimum: Optional Bodily Injury to Others (coverage part 5 on a Mass Auto policy) limits of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident, and Damage to Someone Else's Property (part 4) limits of at least $100,000 on the personal vehicle(s) used to transport clients. Proof of said coverage must be provided to NCYF prior to beginning employment.
