Position Summary

The Bar Prep is responsible for preparing and organizing all ingredients, garnishes, mixes, and supplies needed for efficient bar operations. This role supports the bar team by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, clean, and ready for service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh garnishes, juices, syrups, and cocktail ingredients according to recipes and standards.
  • Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and bar supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar prep areas, coolers, and storage spaces.
  • Wash and sanitize tools, containers, and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and notify management of low stock items.
  • Label and date all prepared items following health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure all prep work is completed before service begins.
  • Support bartenders and management with operational needs.
  • Dispose of waste and recycling properly.
  • Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
  • Portrays a positive and professional attitude.
  • Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Candidate must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Candidate must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
  • Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
  • Working environment may include exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
  • Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
