Job description

CARVER

SUMMARY


We're looking for a Carver to slice and dice our delicious meats for our fabulous customers. Since you'll probably be the first face our customers see, you'll greet them with a warm smile, make them feel welcome, and listen closely as you collect their order details. You'll make sure you have enough meats stocked in your station and alert the Pitmaster when you're running low. By promptly attending to our customers -and- providing a quality presentation of our meats, you'll play a key role in creating a great dining experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Greet and acknowledge customers enthusiastically
  • Carve individual portions of meat using carving, slicing, and butcher knives
  • Weigh sliced meats to ensure portions are uniform
  • Maintain proper stock levels of meats and potatoes throughout the day
  • Prepare meats for catering and takeout
  • Maintain clean, orderly work area
  • Follow health and safety protocols
  • May be required to assist in other areas as directed by management

REQUIREMENTS


  • Familiarity with working in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with restaurant/food products, specifically prices and weights (can be trained on the job)
  • Ability to operate relevant electronic equipment (can be trained on the job)
  • High school diploma or GED preferable
