Job description

We're Hiring: Construction Project Manager (Commercial Carpentry) 

 Location: Morris County NJ  | Full-Time

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager with a strong Commercial Carpentry background. If you're equally comfortable in the office and on-site - reading blueprints, managing subs, doing takeoffs, and jumping in when needed - we want to hear from you

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading commercial carpentry projects from start to finish
  • Overseeing crews and coordinating with subs, vendors, and clients
  • Reading and interpreting commercial blueprints
  • Performing accurate material takeoffs and ordering supplies
  • Managing schedules, budgets, and job site logistics
  • Ensuring high-quality work, jobsite safety, and compliance with code
  • Being a go-to problem solver - both behind a desk and on the tools when needed
  • Performing Layout ( snapping lines )

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction/carpentry
  • Strong hands-on skills and willingness to be involved in the field when necessary
  • Proven ability to read blueprints and do material takeoffs
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiar with project management software (Procore or similar, Outlook, Excel MSword)
  • Able to juggle multiple projects and adapt on the fly
  • Able to travel as needed
  • Clean license and driving history
  • OSHA and equipment certifications
  • Able to lift 100 lbs
