Job description


Job Summary:
The Lead Carpenter is responsible for planning, coordinating, and completing carpentry projects. This role supervises carpenters and laborers, ensures work meets quality and safety standards, and keeps projects on schedule.


Key Responsibilities


  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Manage & lead a team of carpenters to maintain a efficent & productive daily task schedule
  • Perform framing, finishing, cabinetry, trim work, and general carpentry.
  • Lead and supervise carpenters, apprentices, and laborers.
  • Coordinate daily work activities and assign tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy.
  • Communicate project progress with supervisors, subcontractors, and General Contractor
  • Troubleshoot construction issues and implement solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Residential and commercial construction sites
  • Full-time position with possible overtime
