Job description

Cargo Tank Registered Inspector Hale Tank Services, Inc. is a full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Allentown, PA location. We are looking for an experienced Cargo Tank Registered Inspector with tank trailer mechanic skills to join our team of tank trailer repair professionals.

In addition, company provided uniforms, and service awards Responsibilities: Perform Cargo Tank Inspections (HM 183 testing) on all cargo tank trailers. Position also includes general maintenance, air brakes systems, ABS repairs, suspensions, lighting, electrical and DOT inspections.

Welding and fabrication capabilities welcome but not needed. All repairs would be expected to be made in an efficient, timely, accurate, professional, and safe manner in accordance with all Company polices, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations. Requirements: * Prefer a candidate who has 3 years of experience as a Cargo Tank Registered Inspector * Must have a strong knowledge regarding the safe handling and operation of tank trailers & power tools, etc. * Must present a professional, highly motivated, positive, result-oriented, problem-solving attitude. * Must have good communication skills. * Must have own hand tools. * Must maintain a clean and safe work environment. * Must adhere to all Company policies including safety policies. * Must have a valid driver's license. * Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.
