Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cargo Handler to join our team. The Cargo Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, and moving freight safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse or transportation environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to perform in a physically demanding role while maintaining accuracy and productivity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload cargo from trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Sort, stage, and organize freight according to shipment destinations and company procedures.
  • Safely move materials using pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment.
  • Inspect cargo for damage and report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Accurately scan, label, or document shipments as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Assist with inventory checks and general warehouse duties as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient cargo movement and on-time shipments.


Qualifications:
