Overview
Seeking Cardiovascular Technologists for our state-of the art Cardiac Catheterization Lab
St. Francis Hospital is New York State's only specialty designated cardiac center and offers one of the leading cardiac care programs in the nation. St. Francis physicians performs one of the largest volumes of percutaneous coronary interventions.
We are seeking Cardiovascular Technologists to join our Cath Lab team. The successful candidate will assist Interventional Cardiologists in the performance of diagnostic and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) with the primary responsibility of monitoring hemodynamics utilizing the Philips Xper Hemodynamic System and recording case details. The Cardiovascular technologist will be cross-trained to perform a scrub role to assist physicians during Cardiac Catheterization procedures. On call required.

Responsibilities
  • Setting up the patient for cardiac catheterization and monitoring the patient during the procedure
  • Assisting the physician during the exam, and monitor positions

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiological, Cardiovascular and/or Respiratory care program
  • RCVT or equivalent preferred, registry eligible acceptable.
  • BLS/AED/ACLS training required and accepted from the American Heart Association. No online programs from any organization will be accepted.

Posted Salary Range
USD $47.74 - USD $59.73 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
