Hours:
Reporting to the Cardiology Supervisor, the Cardiovascular Interventional Technician ensures a quality outcome and maximum efficiency of the cardiology product line in an adult patient population through the competent use of specific high technology supplies and equipment. Under the supervision of a qualified physician proceeds with the established methodology of diagnostic examinations and therapeutic patient services.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Skills: Three months to one year preferred
License/Certificates/Credentials:
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, ACLS within 90 days of hire (new hires only). RCIS preferred. Must be licensed and hold current certification in Radiologic Technology by the State of California, Radiological Health Section, Department of Health, current license by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), current Fluoroscopy permit. If no current Fluoroscopy permit at time of hire, must obtain Fluoroscopy, permit within six (6) months of employment at DMC. If permit is not obtained at the conclusion of six (6), months, employment with DMC will be terminated.
