Position: Office Supervisor - Clinic
Specialty: Cardiology
Location: Munster (travel required)
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Physician Practices & Recruitment/Physician Practice Network Manager, The Office Supervisor manages the daily operations of the physician office, the office staff, and ensures maximum financial performance.
Education/ Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with coursework in health care administration
  • Two years' experience in a lead role and/or managing a physician office strongly preferred
  • Billing, coding, and collections experience
  • Electronic medical records experience
  • Experience in planning, organizing, delegating and supervising
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively
  • Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation
  • Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities necessary to interact with patients, family members, physicians, and other hospital associates
  • If working in clinical capacity, must maintain required licensure/certification including active CPR certification
