Hendrick Chevrolet (Cary) Location: 100 Auto Mall Drive, Cary, North Carolina 27511 Summary: Responsible for obtaining Used-Car inventory through appraisals and by attending off-site auctions. The Buyer is responsible for making financially sound purchasing decisions for the Company. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following: Coordinates wholesale auctions Attends off-site auctions Appraises vehicles at the store for trade-in Negotiate pricing Works with Technicians to understand vehicle condition and the subsequent costs involved in reconditioning Contributes to improving sales and operations. Understands the needs for department inventory. Interacts with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Attends required manager meetings. Maintains CSI at or above Company standards Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area Participates in required training Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values Complies with Company policies and procedures Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Due to the nature of the position, may be exposed to various work environments and required to perform a variety of tasks.
