We are seeking a Senior Price to Win (PWN) Specialist to support strategic business pursuits by analyzing customer expectations, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to determine pricing approaches that maximize probability of win while maintaining business objectives.

This position plays a key role in strategic Canadian and international defence, simulation, and training pursuits by influencing solution strategy, competitive positioning, and pricing decisions. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and maturity of CAE's Price-to-Win (PTW) and Competitive Intelligence capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain Price-to-Win (PTW) and Score-to-Win (STW) models to support pricing decisions and capture strategies.
  • Analyze customer requirements, procurement behaviors, budget constraints, and evaluation criteria to assess competitive positioning and win probability.
  • Develop competitor solution assessments and evaluate internal technical solutions to support competitiveness, affordability, and alignment with customer priorities.
  • Perform competitor profiling, cost benchmarking, and market analysis using historical data, competitive intelligence, and industry research.
  • Collaborate with Capture Managers, Business Development teams, and technical stakeholders to assess competitor positioning and inform PTW/STW strategies.
  • Support bid strategy development, solution trade studies, and pricing decisions to improve probability of win.
  • Maintain and update PTW/STW analyses throughout the bid lifecycle and communicate assumptions, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Gather, analyze, and centralize competitor and market intelligence to support decision-making.
  • Utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and advanced analytical techniques to enhance market research, competitive intelligence, pricing analysis, and PTW model development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PTW methodologies, processes, and tools supporting strategic pursuits.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8-11 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Price-to-Win analysis
    • Capture Management
    • Cost Estimating
    • Competitive Analysis
    • Procurement
    • Proposal Development
    • Program Management
    • Engineering
    • Related disciplines
  • Experience researching and analyzing competitor capabilities, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Experience developing and applying parametric, scenario-based, or quantitative pricing models using historical data and market intelligence.
  • Understanding of customer evaluation methodologies, scoring systems, and price-to-score trade-off analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex analyses and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and Controlled Goods Program registration
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the defence, aerospace, simulation, training, or other high-technology industries.
  • Experience conducting competitor intelligence, SWOT analysis, and market assessments.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills.
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
