Job description

AE (Account Executive & Sales Closer)
ClickBid • Full-time • Remote-first • Fundraising Software

What you'll do

  • Run product demos daily for qualified prospects after the SDR has done discovery;
  • Tailor each demo using the SDR's discovery notes;
  • Send quotes promptly and close deals;
  • Own post-demo follow-up so prospects don't go quiet after a demo;

Things you do NOT need to do

  • No cold outreach to cold contacts;
  • No scraping or researching cold prospect lists;
  • You do not need to manually enrich or clean the database;
  • Doing discovery calls is optional since we already have an SDR team;

You are not walking into chaos

  • We generate warm leads through conferences, webinars, SEO, GEO, paid ads, cold outreach, partner channels, and referrals;
  • SDR will qualify all leads before passing them to you;
  • The database is consistently updated, and the CRM enrichment team is ready to support you.

Who this role is NOT for

  • You walk into demos without tailoring the session to what the SDR already uncovered.
  • The prospect notes say their pain is X, Y, and Z, but you present A, B, and C.
  • You walk through the demo without asking questions, getting buy-in, or checking if the prospect is with you before moving on.
  • You believe a demo call is only about showing the product, rather than also discussing the prospect’s goals, concerns, decision process, and next steps.
  • After the demo, you do not ask questions to uncover objections, understand their decision process, or agree on the next step.
  • You finish the demo without knowing what the prospect is evaluating, what concerns they have, or what needs to happen next.

Schedule

  • Job Type: Full-time;
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00-5:00 PM EST;
  • Remote First;

Compensation plan

  • Competitive base salary;
  • Tiered commission paid monthly on revenue sold;
  • Quarterly and annual bonus for hitting goals;

Benefits

  • Health, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance;
  • HSA with payroll deduction;
  • 401K with employer contribution;
  • Paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays;
  • Employee wellness program;
