The role combines deep networking expertise, strategic customer engagement, and selective account leadership. The Director will work directly with hyperscaler customers to understand technical roadmaps, shape solution strategy, establish Eridu credibility, build relationships, influence architecture decisions, and drive adoption of high-performance networking solutions for AI training and inference infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is comfortable operating with autonomy, and owning outcomes directly and thriving in a dynamic start-up environment where priorities change frequently. This person should be equally effective with hyperscaler executives, principal architects, and internal product and engineering teams, with the potential to grow into a broader leadership role over time.

Responsibilitie
  • Serve as the lead solutions architect for the companyโ€™s most strategic hyperscaler opportunities.
  • Partner with Product Management and the Office of the CTO to drive customer-facing technical strategy from initial engagement through architecture definition, design review, proof of concept, and deployment planning.
  • Act as a hands-on individual contributor, leading technical discovery, workshops, whiteboarding sessions, executive presentations, and cross-functional deal coordination.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, CTO/Architecture, and Engineering to align customer requirements with product direction and company priorities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each accountโ€™s infrastructure priorities, network architecture direction, procurement dynamics, and decision-making processes.
  • Develop end-to-end network architectures for hyperscaler environments, with emphasis on AI infrastructure and high-performance Ethernet fabrics for scale-up, scale-out, and scale-across networks.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders within hyperscaler accounts.
  • Own an account management component for a defined set of hyperscaler customers, ensuring continuity across opportunity development, roadmap alignment, technical strategy, and executive engagement.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities within assigned accounts and help drive account plans that expand technical footprint and long-term revenue potential.
  • Support commercial strategy by shaping account priorities, competitive positioning, and engagement models for named hyperscaler customers.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally by synthesizing technical requirements, product gaps, deployment blockers, and roadmap priorities.
  • Create repeatable technical assets, including network architecture blueprints, presentatioins and technical position papers, to support future team scaling.
  • Help drive account planning, including opportunity prioritization, architecture alignment, competitive strategy, and multi-phase adoption paths.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in networking, systems engineering, solutions architecture, or technical business development.
  • Strong experience working directly with large cloud, hyperscale, or web-scale infrastructure environments.
  • Deep expertise in data center networking, including leaf-spine, dragonfly and optical torus architectures, routing and switching at scale, L2/L3 design, EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, traffic engineering, resiliency, and operations.
  • Strong understanding of networking requirements for AI/ML clusters and distributed compute infrastructure supporting large-scale AI training and inference.
  • Deep understanding of frontier-model communication patterns, parallelism strategies, and their implications for AI network design.
  • Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Experience leading technical engagements for complex strategic accounts, including architecture reviews, design discussions, proofs of concept, and executive presentations.
  • Demonstrated customer-facing credibility with both engineering teams and senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to combine technical architecture, customer strategy, and commercial judgment in a single role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality external-facing technical materials.
  • Background in both pre-sales architecture and strategic account development.
  • Experience helping define early go-to-market motions for new infrastructure products.
  • Comfort operating in an early-stage or growth-stage company environment.
Why Join Us?
