Global Planning Manager is a member of the Revenue Intelligence team, reporting to the Global Planning Lead, Revenue Intelligence.
The candidate should have demonstrable experience in sales planning processes, territory and quota tooling, cross functional enablement, and displayed the ability to autonomously move projects forward. The candidate should be excited to accelerate their career trajectory by contributing to and learning from strategic go-to-customer initiatives and projects focused on Sales and Marketing in a market leading SaaS company. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 8 years of analytical, tooling, and sales process experience in the technology or software industries supporting Sales and Marketing organizations, including hands-on experience in Sales Planning and proficiency working within the Workday Adaptive Planning platform.
Key Responsibilities, (including but not limited to):
Planning Tooling & Enablement
  • Drive and implement Workday Adaptative Planning's capabilities for the sales planning and territory & quota setting process.
  • Work side-by-side with external implementation vendors to educate them on our process, critical planning elements, and ensure requirements are addressed as part of the onboarding process.
  • Curate views within the Sales Planning tool with Regional Sales Operations to facilitate analysis in support of the fiscal year planning cycle
  • Interpret, validate, and analyze data outputs by leveraging dashboarding, modeling, and other data visualization techniques.
  • Develop data products and views that can be leveraged for planning and target setting within the Revenue Operations team as well as other teams across Genesys.
  • Manage and facilitate regional reporting requirements including but not limited to;
  • Work to remove duplication of effort and ensure we are leveraging centrally produced dashboards and reports where possible.
  • Work with the planning leads to ensure business reporting requirements are captured and included in global reporting initiatives.
  • Support Global operations in reconciling and ensuring consistency from various data sources and assist in driving the automation of analytics in support of planning.
  • Provide insights into effectiveness of specific programs and investments and report progress against those assumptions laid out in planning through the budget and bookings-based outcomes.

GTM Planning Excellence
  • Work with Global Planning Lead, to drive Globally Consistent Cadence planning schedule; including but not limited to:
  • Understanding potential hierarchy structural changes
  • Incorporation of strategic initiatives into the planning framework
  • Create clear and consistent vocabulary leveraged cross functionally
  • Integration of a globally consistent capacity model
  • Ensure our outputs and insights are aligned to the corporate strategic pillars, aligned to finance's budget process and frameworks, and investment trade-off implications are clear to stakeholders.

Measures for Success:
  • Curation and development of reporting templates and dashboards for management.
  • Coach, enable, and work with stakeholders to ensure they can derive insights and drive action from produced analytics.
  • A willingness to learn new software and tools to enable better decision making by sales business partners.
  • Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly.
  • Responsible for managing various projects, demonstrating coachability and adaptability to stakeholder preferences.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
  • Proven experience with the development and implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Understanding of sales processes, quota & territory modelling, target setting, and compensation models.
  • Advanced level in Excel leveraging PowerBI, advanced formulas, financial modelling, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience writing in SQL. SOQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in automating workflows leveraging ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI tools.
  • Experience in Salesforce workflows, Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, and running SQL queries.
  • Minimum 8+ years professional experience in analytics, operations, or planning type role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of presenting to senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to be able to capture stakeholder needs and translate them into written application and operational requirements.
  • Strong team player with ability to work cross culturally and across business units.

Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$109,000.00 - $191,600.00
