Travel Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Monterey, CA

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Monterey, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability. This role offers clinical variety and the opportunity to impact patient recovery while working in a coastal Central California community.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Ability to float to nearby facilities, including assignments in Salinas and Kingsburg, as required by the client.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with documentation systems used in post-acute and skilled nursing environments preferred.
Assignment Details
  • Shift hours: 0800โ€“1630.
  • Work days (per VMS): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday.
  • Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
  • Floating required to nearby locations, including Salinas and Kingsburg.
