Jefferson Health is our Academic Clinical Research Center partner for our vertically integrated operations in Pennsylvania.
Position Summary/Objective
The Inventory Technician is responsible for processing and fulfilling orders and assisting with maintaining the smooth flow of material from intake to dispensaries. This role will also assist with post-harvest duties as needed. We are building a strong ethical and team-oriented culture at Ethos Cannabis and are looking for this position to help implement this vision.
We are seeking a passionate, driven, detailed oriented and collaborative Inventory Technician to provide order management expertise and support the Company's growth trajectory. The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to our business model and has demonstrated experience, as he or she will be given significant responsibility over the inventory function of our business. Previous cannabis experience is a plus but not required; however, all candidates should have some familiarity and comfortability with cannabis and the ability to quickly learn the industry regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Fulfill outgoing orders with high accuracy
  • Conduct intake of finished goods into inventory
  • Effectively utilize the state-mandated point-of-sale software and other computerized systems for inventory management and order fulfillment
  • Immediately report any inventory discrepancies to the Inventory Manager for further action
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Maintain compliance with all Company policies, standards, values, and procedures
  • Participate in staff training and maintain product and industry knowledge
  • Assist with and receive deliveries of inbound raw materials
  • Strives to continuously improve workflows and physical organization
  • Maintain organization of storage areas
  • Transporting Cannabis products to either our dispensaries or wholesale customers as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Preferred Experience, Education and Skills:
  • Cannabis experience and knowledge preferred
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of computer and office equipment and programs; proficiency in computer usage including seed-to-sale software, MS Office applications (MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook), and more
  • Above average math skills
  • Ability to focus with a high-level attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including anticipatory thinking and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining calm composure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with absolute reliability and honesty, high level of integrity, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Willingness to be cross trained
  • Exceptional team player with strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively within a diverse, multicultural, multi-generational environment

Other Requirements:
  • Must pass stringent background test requirements of state you will be working in. Age requirements; MA 21, OH 21 and PA 18.
  • Possess valid driver's license or state ID card; authorized to work in the U.S

Physical Environment Conditions:
  • Ability to perform essential job functions for extended periods (8-10 hours per day).
  • Frequent activities may include sitting, walking, bending, climbing ladders, reaching, and frequent use of hands for handling, grasping, and repetitive motions
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds over a distance of up to 100 feet
  • Work may involve exposure to cannabis odors, airborne particles, fertilizers, and high humidity in cultivation or processing areas.
  • Job duties may be performed in retail dispensaries, cultivation rooms, or post-harvest facilities, each with varied lighting and temperature conditions.

Compensation:
  • This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay.
  • Pay range is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
