Job description

About the Role:  

Packaging Support at Gron is the daily facilitator for preparing and packaging all products needed for fulfillment. The packaging team must work at high levels of production efficiency and safety. The Packaging Support is expected to follow, maintain and hold the team accountable to standard work methods and safe work habits to ensure product packaging and fulfillment is as efficient and safe as possible. This role is based in our Kansas City facility, where the operating hours are from Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM, with the occasional Friday shift.

    

In this role you will:  

  • Communicate clearly and frequently with the Packaging team and leadership to achieve daily goals 
  • Follow company and government compliance to complete daily packaging and prep  
  • Maintain a clear workspace  
  • Maintain our seed-to-sale system, METRC, by managing associated tags and batch stickers 
  • Complete daily checklists to keep facility running smoothly 
  • Learn to properly operate various types of machines in the packaging process 
  • Sleeve, sticker, package, wrap and heat seal all products post-production 
  • Keep a keen eye for the details to find tasks when there is a break in packaging 
  • Collaborate with coworkers to complete packaging tasks in a timely fashion
