What You'll Do
As a Front End Maintenance Mechanic, you'll maintain and repair the critical equipment used at the beginning of our aluminum can manufacturing process.
Your responsibilities include:
  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing front-end production equipment
  • Servicing cuppers, body makers, trimmers, coil handling systems, and related machinery
  • Performing equipment tear-downs, rebuilds, and precision reassembly
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing effective repair solutions
  • Completing preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability
  • Using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
  • Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Operating machine shop equipment such as lathes, presses, and grinders when needed
  • Assisting with machine adjustments and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Following all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical certification, vocational training, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment
  • Experience performing equipment rebuilds and precision mechanical repairs
  • Machine shop experience
Schedule
12-Hour Shift
3rd Shift Preferred
Additional overtime may be available based on production needs.
