Job Opportunity: Construction Laborer

Location: Kalispell, Montana

For over 50 years, LHC, Inc. has been a cornerstone in building roads, bridges, and infrastructure that connect and support Montana communities. With the resources to tackle large-scale projects and a commitment to safety, we are proud to be one of Montana's most qualified heavy civil construction firms.

We are currently looking for Construction Laborers to join our hardworking construction crews in Kalispell, MT. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals seeking a long-term career in the construction industry with significant room for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
  • Assist equipment operators and other skilled laborers as needed.
  • Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, moving obstacles, and digging trenches.
  • Load and unload construction materials.
  • Build and dismantle temporary structures as required.
  • Perform site cleanup and operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment like skid steers or mini excavators.
  • Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of labor experience is strongly preferred.
  • Previous construction experience is a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift 50 to 75 lbs.
  • Perform repetitive movements such as bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders or steps.
  • Sit or stand for extended periods and walk on uneven ground.
  • Work safely in various weather conditions, noisy environments, and around vibrations.
  • Continuous use of hand tools and fine manipulation.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $24-$26, depending on experience (Prevailing Wage may apply).
  • Medical Insurance:
