JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Lead - Marketing Technology & Personalization is a hands-on leadership role responsible for architecting and implementing advanced marketing and personalization solutions across Universal Destinations & Experiences' digital and physical touchpoints. Leveraging Adobe Experience Cloud technologies-including AEP, RTCDP, AJO, CJA, Target, AA, AAM-and platforms like SFMC and LiveRamp, this role drives real-time, data-driven customer journeys, owns Adobe governance and data architecture, and leads scrum teams in delivering scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that support multi-channel campaigns and elevate the guest experience.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as a hands-on technical expert guiding engineering teams in developing and optimizing real-time engagement and marketing journeys, including campaign orchestration across channels (email, SMS, push, etc.) using Adobe Experience Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable and secure personalization solutions using Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and other Adobe tools
  • Develop and enforce Adobe governance, including data classification, RBAC, and platform administration.
  • Architect and maintain ingestion pipelines, data streams, schemas, and datasets for unified customer profiles.
  • Collaborate closely with technology, product, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of high-quality solutions, supporting all phases of the project lifecycle-from initiation and scoping to staffing and implementation.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or in a relevant applied quantitative field is required.

EXPERIENCE:
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing technology architecture and engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise across Adobe Experience Cloud, including AEP, RTCDP, AJO, CJA, Target, AA, AAM.
  • Experience with SFMC, LiveRamp, and composable CDPs preferred.
  • Strong background in personalization strategies and campaign orchestration.
  • Experience in automating jobs, ability to leverage command line utilities and able to support API builds on premise and cloud environments
  • Experience defining, documenting, and developing best practices, processes and standards related to data engineering for advanced analytics purpose.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including product owners, architects, and executives;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
