Job Title: Marketing Specialist II
Job Location: Fully Remote
Job Duration: 06 Months (Possibility of extension)

Job Description:
Must Have Requirements:

  • Experience in corporate Managed Care Organ
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • The department manages high-volume, cross-function, omnichannel campaigns warranting at least a two-person department.
  • We routinely face seasonal spikes in activity to justify at least a two-person department.
  • An extension allows Marketing Communications to be more agile and maintain productivity during routine peak workloads to supports permanent staff.
  • The department is being tasked with overall work that has scaled up, requiring specialized skills to support the public website, including a redesign.
  • Our current contractor is taking on much-needed tasks on the Sitecore and Availity platforms to keep pace with Client demand.
  • The department is taking on more work specifically in the area of Quality and closing care gaps to drive Quality and HEDIS scores in support of the entire New York plan.
  • Our contractor plays a key role in supporting NY’s Senior Specialist, Health Plan Communications.
  • The New York Government Contracts team continues to transfer work to Marketing Communications that requires the support of a full-time contractor.
  • Marketing Communications, unlike other Client plans, has been tasked this year with member mailings that had previously been the province of Government Contracts; this requires close project management justifying additional support provided by a contractor.
  • The New York Operations team continues to transfer work to Marketing Communications that requires the support of a full-time contractor.
  • A contractor will contribute significantly to background operations including the approval cycle for Client and plan-level social media.
  • Marketing Communications is being involved in more member outreach ad hoc projects and discussions warranting additional support from a full-time contractor.
  • An ongoing initiative to create more welcoming/refreshed CSCs across the state is a large project that can be supported more efficiently with a expanded contractor's role.
  • A contractor can also support other myriad ad hoc projects such as those for complex audits, Better Business Bureau assignments, branding and much more that creates significant time demands to meet rigorous deadlines.
