Job TItle: Lead AEM Engineer - E-Commerce
Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Onsite, 3-4 days/week)
Type: 6-month contract-to-hire
Overview:
Seeking a senior, hands-on Lead Engineer to architect and deliver large-scale e-commerce platforms. This role combines technical leadership with active development across Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Java/Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design, development, and optimization of customer-facing commerce platforms.
  • Architect and enhance core e-commerce capabilities (catalog, checkout, payments, OMS).
  • Drive integrations across CRM, booking engines, logistics, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and APIs.
  • Remain hands-on with architecture and development (React front end, modern APIs).

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years software engineering experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership.
  • 3+ years Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Strong Java/Spring Boot expertise.
  • Experience with microservices, SPAs, event-driven and serverless architectures.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, Kiro AI, Copilot).
